The Situational Awareness and Logistics Division is looking for computer engineering or computer science students. This Division researches, develops, implements and analyzes advanced systems to protect, enhance, and ensure resilience of the global maritime supply chain. The Division develops and deploys information systems to facilitate global security, throughput, and congestion reduction; utilizes GPS and other sensor technologies to enhance transportation protection capabilities; supports the development of a Nationwide Automatic Identification System to improve system-wide safety through collision avoidance and vessel detection, traffic management, and classification.

We seek highly motivated CS/CE students who have completed their sophomore or junior coursework by June 2012. The student should have two or more of the following skill sets
- PHP
- JavaScript
- MySQL
- HTML/ CSS

Applicants will be working on developing interactive web content for global maritime applications. This position is for the summer of 2012 with the potential to continue throughout the academic year on a part time basis. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and successfully pass a background check.
